David Mobley is undoubtedly a man of many talents. He’s not just a successful businessman but also an exceptionally gifted producer, songwriter, musician, and philanthropist. He is the founder of the world-class multi-million-dollar business, Wonder Wafers International. David has proven himself to be a visionary leader with an incredible work ethic. An Exemplary Songwriter, Producer, Musician, And Entrepreneur

David was born on October 22, 1953, in Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex in Texas, USA. He is an American entrepreneur, songwriter, musician, and producer. Globally, he is recognized as the founder of Wonder Wafers International and co-founder of “Crosswindz,” a pop/rock non-tour studio recording group that began in 1970. He has also produced, financed, arranged, and composed numerous hit singles and albums throughout the 50+ years of his music career. David is also the Creator and Producer of Oldies Goldies Radio, The David Mobley Show, Songwriters Webcast, Mobley Products, Inc., and David Mobley Productions. In 2021, David and songwriter/drummer J.J. Tyson founded Tyson-Mobley (a pop/rock non-touring studio recording group).

David Mobley Productions was also founded by David, a company producing music, radio, and television shows. Furthermore, he is the creator and producer of The David Mobley Show, which features interviews with musical guests. In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, David is also the owner of Mobley Products, Inc., dba Wonder Wafers International which introduced the first of its kind, non-flammable/non-toxic 2 oz. pump spray air fresheners as well as the globally known and widely used Wonder Wafers Air Fresheners. Both air fresheners became an instant worldwide hit.

Very few people have managed to take career and passion hand in hand successfully. David is one of the exceptions. His songs have been featured on several major motion picture soundtracks and television shows. Despite his many successes, David remains humble and down-to-earth. He is always seeking new ways to move forward and improve upon his previous accomplishments. As a result, it is clear that there is no limit to what this man can achieve.

Career Highlights

In 1970, David co-founded the non-touring pop/rock songwriting and recording band Crosswindz and released their debut album, “High Park,” in 1972, followed by “Hot Acoustic Nite” in 2003, and “The Dark Side of Day” in 2011.

Along with Songwriter/Drummer J.J. Tyson, David launched the non-touring pop/rock studio recording group Tyson-Mobley in 2021, which is now writing and recording several all-new singles as well as their first full studio album, set to release in the Spring of 2023.

David also produced the smash album “Lifeless” by the rock band “State of Whatever” in 2005 and is also one of the Executive Producers for mega movie star Burt Reynolds’ final 2008 motion picture “Deal.”

He is credited for his backing vocals on Track 14 of Todd Rundgren’s 2012 album “[re]Production.” He is also identified as Executive Producer of the “Dave Evans/John Nitzinger smash album “Revenge,” released in 2013 on the Bad Reputation Records label in Paris, France. 

David is also credited as the head Songwriter, Co-Songwriter, Producer, Executive Producer, guitar, synth, keyboards, and backup vocals on the 2014 Dave Evans (Co-Founder of AC/DC) EP “What About Tomorrow.”

In 2015, David was named Songwriter and Producer of the year in S. America for his work on the now famous ‘What About Tomorrow’ EP performed by AC/DC Co-Founder and original lead singer Dave Evans.

In 2017, David was the Composer and Producer of “Ice Crystals Bridge,” the title song and music for the YouTube series “Moon Lit Paranormal.”

David is acknowledged as Co-Producer, Arranger, and Executive Producer on the 2019 album “Circle of Sin,” recorded by the mega hard rock band “Black Water Greed.” He also established and produced several internet music radio shows, namely “The David Mobley Show,” “The Songwriters Webcast,” and “Oldies Goldies Radio.”

His Latest Production 

In 2021, David teamed up with Songwriter/Drummer J.J. Tyson (Founder of Black Water Greed™) to form one of the most powerful and refreshing non-touring Pop/Rock studio recording bands to come along in quite some time.

Their 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s music styles have brought back the ‘feel and flavor’ of the music from yesteryear! These two musical visionaries are collaborating with some of the industry’s most talented and well-known artists. Their highly anticipated song singles and their new album will release in early Spring 2023.

David As A Philanthropist

David is also affiliated with various nonprofit organizations that assist impoverished children in getting the attention they need and deserve via music. He helps fund and donates instruments to organizations that teach them songwriting and how to play a range of musical instruments.

One of David’s recent donations was gifting a new grand piano to a local church to replace their broken one. His donations and contributions to help others continue to make the world a better place.
