10 TREKS in the Netherlands Should Love to Go Some Love Backpacker

Spread the love

Only those who share the enthusiasm of passionate travelers are able to appreciate the joy of a backpacker. You will after all Treks discover, as a backpacker, the less-famous tourist spots, walk up high and enjoy some of Mother Nature’s most magical views. India is a country full of surprises in terms of the variety of landscapes it houses, and everything can be explored with the aid of walks every backpacker likes.

Thanks to our day-to-day work and relentless time limits, we urban dwellers are not always too fortunate to go on long walks. However, it is good news that alternatives can be made by going to the club for one or two days of the week over a weekend. See some of the country’s best weekend treks.

1. Nag Tibba

Most mountain lovers want to visit a place near Delhi, and the cities of Nag Tibba are ideal for them. From there they can enjoy amazing views of the Himalayan peaks. The track is one of the less popular trails near Mussoorie and is walking along with thick forests rich in fauna and flora, with a unique view of some of the region’s main mountains including the Bandarpoonch peak (also called Bandarpunch), Gangotri mountain range, the Kedarnath peak in the north, the Doon valley, and the snowy Chanabang peaks.

2. Triund Trek

The Triund Trek can be concluded in a single day, one of the most famous Delhi weekend trips and first-timers. The trail brings a nature lover to the deep forests from Bhagsu, near McLeodganj, and combines it with some of the most beautiful views on the Kangra Valley. When you get to see all of them are towering peaks that are playing with the clouds; it’s a matter, of course, to die for. If a trekker has a day or two extra, he can continue to explore the meadows below Indrahara Pass by treetop to Lahesh Cave.

3. Bhrigu Lake

Bitten by the bug and residing in the national capital, most of us can claim, thanks to our numerous visits to the hill station, that we know Manali nooks and crannies. But mountain lovers and backpacking lovers can easily walk from Manali to the glacial Bhrigu Lake. The route begins at Gulaba, 24km from Manali, and takes a hiker through thousands of pastures and wetlands just 10 minutes from the start. In the center of the vast snowfield and breathtaking views of the summits around the place, there is a magnificent frozen glacier lake in the top position.

4. Bijli Mahadev Trek

Bijli Mahadev is an ancient temple devoted to Shiva Lord and is located on a hill surrounded by Parvati, Garsa, Bhuntar, and Kullu valleys. In reality, the temple is after a miracle over the years. Each year in the temple, a lightning bolt breaks Shiva Lingam in many sections. The priest of the temple then collects all the bits and attaches them using the butter, which is used as an adhesive. The Lingam will be found intact the next morning. The path leads through thick woods into a huge wild meadow with amazing 360-degree views of the surrounding peaks.

5. Kareri Lake Trek

The Kareri Lake is an elliptical glacier lake between Dhauladhar’s majestic hills. The walk to this lake is in fact a quieter and less efficient way to the Triund walk. It takes a walker in wondrous oak and spruce woodlands. Once there’s a trekker on the lakeside, he’ll be on the Minkiani and Bleni Passes.

6. Dudhsagar Trek

Many of us may have seen this waterfall for the first time in the Bollywood blockbuster Shah Rukh Khan, Chennai Express, but it is a long-lasting destination among keen travelers, and trekking can be a lifetime experience. Walks to the waterfalls will carry a trekker with the lush beauty of western Ghats closely and personally. Although the marble white waterfall is an unforgettable treat, the views are magnificent.

7. Tadiandamol Trek

While one of Karnataka’s least established treks, the joy of treking to Tadiandamol, at 5.740 feet, is known as the highest peak in Coorg. The trail passes by the vast expanses of the Shola woods, and some of the finest green grassland and streams. The campsite at the top is an incredible experience, combining intestinal winds with endless views over the magnificent surroundings.

8. Tumling Trek

Although the Sandakphu treks is one of Darjeeling’s most famous treks, many hikers who don’t have the luxury of time can choose to walk to the Tumling treks, which is an incredible alternative. Tumling is a picturesque hamlet on the side of the road from Nepal and is 11 kilometers from Manebhanjan to the summit of Sandakphu. The treks provide a wonderful 180-degree view of the magnificent Kanchenjunga mountain, followed by Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Everest, and Mt. Makalu, the Great Himalayan peaks. A perfect starting point for beginners.

9. Rajmachi Fort Trek

The trek to Rajmachi is not less than a hypocritical weekend treks for those living in Mumbai and Pune. The path leads through a combination of forest and open grasslands in picture-perfect landscapes and is blessed with a fantastic view of the lush green Sahyadri mountains. In the 17th century, the Rajmachi Fort was constructed from Shivaji and because of its situation and its views was a favorite for backpackers.

10. Torna Trek

The Torna Fort was the first one to win over Shivaji at the age of 16, located on a lush green hill. The trail up to the fort leads a walker to some of the Sahyadri mountain range’s most spectacular grasslands, along which there are also many temples, barren structures, and tanks.
